Building In
Public
From field technician to VP. The milestones, the lessons, and the road ahead. No shortcuts. Just the work.
Where It All Started
Before any job title or career path, there was World of Warcraft. I helped build and design ACWeb Repack, the first private server repack for The Burning Crusade. Leading guilds and building custom servers taught me networking, system administration, database management, and how to lead communities. What started as a passion for gaming became the foundation for everything that followed.
The Foundation
Started as a Video Coordinator at Comal ISD, designing server environments for athletic programs while still a student. Moved on to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as Assistant Video Coordinator. These early roles taught me how to build systems, manage teams, and solve problems with limited resources. Skills that would define the rest of my career.
Building Technical Depth
Architected networks and managed projects at Coldchain Technology Services, delivering HIPAA-compliant inventory systems for the City of Chicago. Served on the emergency logistics task force during the 2012 NATO and G8 Summit, managing critical inventory and asset tracking under heightened security conditions. Then founded Nexgen Development, leading a team to build logistics software for clients including the Department of Defense and Isuzu. Transitioned into MSP work at Bridgehead IT, progressing from field technician to systems engineer, designing, deploying, and documenting enterprise environments from the ground up.
Two New Chapters
Launched In The Shadaux on YouTube to share enterprise technology knowledge with others on a self-taught path. Simultaneously founded Business Optimization and Technology Experts (BOTE), a managed service provider focused on helping businesses leverage technology to optimize their operations.
Executive Leadership
Joined Transglobal Services as Director of IT, migrating infrastructure to Azure and cutting software costs by 40%. Promoted to Director of Operations, managing P&L, budget forecasting, and performance reporting for 150+ employees across 9 departments. Led ERP implementations, acquisition integrations, and built a culture of operational excellence from the ground up.
VP of Continuous Improvement
Now leading enterprise-wide continuous improvement at Transglobal Services, driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives, process optimization, and training programs that empower employees at every level. While continuing to run BOTE and bringing In The Shadaux back to life with a decade of hard-won experience to share.
The Vision
Build a platform where enterprise technology and operational leadership are accessible to everyone, regardless of background or formal education. Create a community of driven professionals who share knowledge, challenge each other, and prove that the path you take matters less than the work you put in.
